Virginia Membership Recognition

Each year, the Virginia Association honors FCCLA chapters for their accomplishments in membership. Membership trophies, in the categories listed below, are presented to those chapters in attendance at the annual State Leadership & Recognition Conference. The awards are based on affiliations received at national headquarters postmarked by February 15. No application from the chapter is necessary because the awards are based on information provided by the national headquarters and on the chapter's state conference registration.

red arrowNew Chapter Award - recognizes new chapters and those affiliating for the first time in three or more years

red arrowMiddle Level Milestone - recognizes middle level chapters who participate in the Middle Level Affiliation option through national FCCLA, affiliating all FACS students as FCCLA members.

red arrowMembership Milestone 50, 100, 150, 200, etc.
- recognizes chapters reaching a significant "milestone" in the number of chapter members; awards are set in increments of fifty, beginning at fifty members.

red arrowLargest Chapter in the State - recognizes the chapter with the greatest number of affiliated members.
