Virginia FCCLA Public Relations Recognition

Virginia FCCLA recommends that chapters develop a yearly "program of work," which includes planning and implementing projects in those national FCCLA programs that connect to the FACS courses offered in their school. The program of work should also address the goals of national FCCLA and the Virginia Association, which includes publicizing local FCCLA projects and activities. These goals are part of the Strategic Plan for FCCLA, which is found on the national Web site.

Public Relations Recognition

Recognition, including a Public Relations ribbon for the state conference name badge, will be based on doing one of the following:
- Submit an article or photo to the national FCCLA magazine, Teen Times, and have the article accepted for publication.
- Submit one of the following to the Virginia Vice President of Public Relations: newspaper article; chapter newsletter; screen shots of chapter Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest pages; or chapter website.
-Provide at least two social media posts
for Virginia FCCLA during the school year.

Chapters will also be recognized by Virginia FCCLA for submitting an application for the national FCCLA Public Relations Award.
