The Virginia FCCLA Leadership Foundation ensures the continuation of inspired youth leadership by supporting the growth and progress of the Virginia Association of Family, Career and Community Leaders of America.

What does the Leadership Foundation do for Virginia FCCLA?
Each year, the foundation provides financial support for a wide range of projects, activities, and scholarships such as:
~Mini-grants to local chapters for implementing projects in one of the national FCCLA programs (grant applications are available here (MS Word document) or Google Doc – due date is October 1).
~Scholarships to approximately 200 students to compete in national STAR Events and the FCCLA/LifeSmarts Knowledge Bowl during the National Leadership Conference in July.
~Full funding support for the Virginia FCCLA State Leadership & Recognition Conference keynote speaker.
~Scholarships to state officers and national officer candidates to attend national leadership training and to carry out projects for Virginia FCCLA.
~Statewide leadership training opportunities.
~Mini-grants to newly-affiliated chapters.
~Support for adviser professional development and the Membership & Adviser Development Coordinator on Virginia FCCLA staff.
~College scholarship for an FCS major/future FCCLA adviser (grant applications are available here (MS Word document or Google Doc – due date is November 1).
