Outstanding Chapter

The Virginia Association of Family, Career and Community Leaders of America presents Outstanding Chapter awards to those chapters that plan and conduct well-balanced programs of work that support the goals found in the Strategic Plan for the national FCCLA organization. This award provides an opportunity for chapters, through self-evaluation, to receive recognition and to highlight their chapter’s success.

Outstanding FCCLA chapters are those which plan balanced programs of work that include the following areas:
• Membership recruitment
• Chapter activities
• State and national activities
• Chapter publicity
• Exceptional accomplishments
Reminder:
The Outstanding Chapter recognition has been expanded to include a Platinum Level for chapters earning 100 or more points on the award application. One of these chapters will be selected each year by the Virginia FCCLA Leadership Foundation to receive the Connie Rhoton Outstanding Chapter Legacy Award that includes a $1,000 cash prize.

State recognition will be given to all chapters that complete the online Google Doc application. TO QUALIFY FOR AWARD RECOGNITION AT THE STATE CONFERENCE PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
