College Day is a special opportunity for members in middle and high schools to meet and observe FCCLA state officers in action with presentations, breakout sessions, campus tours and more. A number of small group, hands on activities will give each attendee increased awareness of FCS/FCCLA. All three locations offer a thriving FCS department with various majors aligned to FCS classes taught in VA. Advisers, consider College Day as an excellent way to encourage youth members to explore FCS education as a career choice. During the day interact with college staff and students about majors and courses of interest to FCS students and FCCLA members. We will be using the dining hall for lunch. Leave with resources, ideas, tips for chapter involvement, and goal setting for action. Insurance while on the campus is included. The event will run from 9am to 3pm
Locations for 2025 are: Liberty University (Lynchburg), Bridgewater College and Virginia State University (Petersburg).
